モーレー・イングリッシュ・アカデミーについて

 

The Director, Beverly Morey, has over 33 years of professional teaching experience. With a background in child psychology, she also holds Montessori certifications for toddler, primary, junior elementary and senior elementary levels. In addition to successfully founding 6 schools, she has developed curriculum for gifted and ESL students. For the last 20 years she has specialized in working with intellectually advanced children, developing materials and curriculum to meet their needs. Beverly moved to Japan in 1998 as a consultant for international schools and English language schools. At the request of parents, in 2001 she co-founded Rivendale Montessori School for student’s ages 3 through 6. In 2006, she co-founded Tokyo Gifted Academy, later re-named Tokyo Children’s Academy. 

学長のビヴァリー・モーレーは、33年以上の教職歴を有しています。児童心理をバックグラウンドに持っており、さらに幼児や小学校低学年から高学年までの児童を対象にしたモンテッソーリ教師資格を保有しています。これまで６校の創立を成功させてきており、さらに天才児向けのカリキュラムや第二言語として英語を学ぶ生徒向けのカリキュラムを開発してきました。これまでの20年間は、知的発達の早い児童の教育と、そうした児童向けの教材開発、カリキュラム策定を専門としてきました。ビヴァリーは1998年、インターナショナルスクールおよび英語学校向けのコンサルタントとして来日しました。子供たちの保護者からの要請により、2001年に３歳児から６歳児向けの学校リヴァンデール・モンテッソーリ・スクールを共同で設立。さらに2006年、後の東京チルドレンズ・アカデミーとなる、東京ギフテッド・アカデミーを共同で設立しました。
